Experienced Ruby On Rails Developers needed

Excel SoftSources, located in San Pedro and recognized as one of Costa Rica's premier near-shore IT service providers is now looking to start a new team of Ruby On Rails Developers.

We will be hiring one Senior Team Leader and 3 more mid level Ruby on Rails Developers. We also need 1 QA Engineer.

Requirements:

1. Experience working with Rails 3
2. Experience with Rack and middleware is a plus
3. Experience with Sinatra or other Rack-based frameworks
4. Contributed to open source projects is a plus
5. Worked on Ruby projects outside of Rails
6. Understanding of OAuth 2.0 is a plus
7. Experience with mysql and/or postgres
8. Experience with deploying Rails apps on a cloud platform (i.e. Heroku or AWS)
9. Experience with queueing systems
10. Experience with subversion
11. Experience using document-based databases
12. Experience with memecache is a plus
13. Experience with jQuery and other front-end technologies


Good English communication skills are required.

We offer a great working environment and the opportunity to work from home a few days a week.

Travel to the USA to work with our clients is also part of the position.
